Have a Ball Near Our Downtown Destination
This is one beautifully strange ballpark, with weird angles, small capacity and a legendary past — not to mention a 37-foot-tall left-field wall known as the Green Monster. Home to Major League Baseball’s Red Sox since 1912 (Fenway opened just days after the sinking of the Titanic), it has seen a parade of baseball greats, from Babe Ruth and Ted Williams, to Carl Yastrzemski and Carlton Fisk. This is the oldest, most historic ballpark in pro baseball and whether you’re a fan or not, it’s a treat to see a game here. One-hour tours are also offered year-round... even to Yankees fans.
